The Titan Wellness Wheel provides a visual representation of the nine dimensions or areas of an individual’s life that contribute to their overall health. These dimensions include common characteristics and behaviors associated with wellness. Additionally, the Titan Wellness Wheel serves to outline resources available at Central Carolina Technical College that will further address these needs. Physical Wellness
Student Life – Students can participate in blood drives and HIV screenings each semester; and/or check out and use outdoor activity equipment (cornhole, connect four, etc).
Accessibility Services – Accessibility Services provides accommodations for students with disabilities that facilitate equity and access on campus. The office strives to meet the diverse needs of the students with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Student Nutritional Access Center (SNAC) – The Student Nutritional Access Center (commonly referred to as SNAC) is a food pantry created to assist CCTC students in need of non-perishable food items. Twice per month, students can stop by SNAC to receive 1-2 bags of groceries. SNAC is available on the Main, Kershaw, Lee and F.E. DuBose campuses.
Titan Trails – These mapped out trails provide a space for the CCTC community to take a wellness break, or strengthen health and well-being. People of all fitness levels can visit the campus trails as we all work towards a more-balanced lifestyle.

Financial Wellness
Financial Aid & Veterans Affairs – Financial Aid provides financial aid counseling services to prospective and current students and their families about options to finance higher education costs, eligibility for assistance, applying for and obtaining funding, Veterans Affairs benefits, Federal Tuition Assistance, etc.
Business Office – The Business Office oversees, billing, payment processing, refunds and IRS Form 1098-T generation for students.
Special Populations Program – This federally funded program provides monetary assistance to qualified students for books, childcare, tuition assistance and transportation assistance.
Career Services – The center provides resources for the salary negotiation process and salary expectations by industry. Information on salary expectations and negotiations is available online in College Central Network. You can schedule an appointment via College Central Network to speak with a staff member or stop by the center (Main Campus, M525) to access print resources.
Student Life – Student Life coordinates several student organizations where students are trained to be fiscally responsible by allocating money, building a budget and being good stewards of resources.
Titan Attire Program (TAP) – TAP is a free service open to all currently enrolled students and recent alumni. It provides professional or industry-appropriate clothing to instill confidence and make a positive first impression for job interviews, career fairs, networking events, or transitioning to the workplace. All clothing is gently-used donations and we cannot guarantee sizes.
Requirements for use:

- Clothes are yours to keep
- No appointment necessary, walk-in basis only
- TAP is gender-inclusive, students can take from any rack

Spiritual Wellness
Student Life – Student Life hosts events and programs throughout the year dedicated to raise awareness on the importance of social belonging, social justice and community service. Check the events calendar details.
Career Services – Career Services offers career assessments designed to explore individual values, interests, personality and strengths; and connect those VIPS to career aspirations or life purpose.
Counseling and Student Life Services – Provides in-person and online resources for students including mindfulness and diversity appreciation.
Environmental Wellness
Accessibility Services – Central Carolina Technical College provides access to programs and services to all qualified participants regardless of disability. Considering accessibility can provide a welcoming environment to all. Disabilities include but are not limited to deafness, visual impairment and limited mobility. Auxiliary services such as sign language interpreting, barrier free access to buildings and assistive technology serve as means to create equity and access to programs and facilities.
Office of Student Affairs – The Office of Student Affairs supports Central Carolina Technical College’s educational mission by enforcing regulations and policies designed to promote an environment in which students can develop intellectually and socially as a member of the Titan family and independently within the campus community.
Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) – VUB hosts the Green Zone Training program whose mission is to provide military students with a welcoming and supportive environment in which they can pursue their academic, personal and professional goals. To create this environment, awareness is required so that members of the campus community who are not directly connected to the military can create a supportive campus. The Green Zone Training Program provides our campus with a visible network of knowledgeable supporters of service members, veterans, and military families.

TRIO Student Support Services – The program provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and serves to motivate students to complete a postsecondary education
Counseling Services Team – The team strives to provide an environment that embraces difference and cultivates a campus climate of respect and inclusion. Facilities Management – The department assists the college community with the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety and environmental management programs as well as facilitating overall compliance with applicable environmental, health, and federal, state and local safety regulations.

Library – Library services and holdings ensure that students, faculty and staff are always in reach of quality information. Whether gathering resources in the library or online, you can find relevant information and have access to librarians for services and support.
Advisement & Support Center (ASC) – The center works closely with students in Associate in Arts, Associate in Sciences and Pre-Nursing programs providing academic advisement, connection to college resources and support with COL 105 assignments.

Titan Tutoring Center – Need help with a class? Introducing a new resource to provide FREE Math and tutoring to students! Located on the Main campus, Bldg. M500. Rm. 510 (inside Library).
TRIO Programs – TRIO Student Support Services and Veterans Upward Bound provide access to one-on-one or group tutoring for program participants. Study rooms are also available.
Brainfuse – This online service provides academic support resources, live virtual tutoring, virtual writing center and several test preparations resources.
Student Life – Student Life coordinates several student organizations and programs. Through these organizations and programs students engage in different ideas, discussion, and diplomatic and organizational skills.
Career Services – The center is committed to helping students identify their strengths, goals, and growth areas while providing guidance on how to share their story with others. Sexual Wellness
Title IX / Sexual Harassment Coordinators – Title IX / Sexual Harassment prohibits gender discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, intimate partner / relationship violence, bullying and cyberbullying, and retaliation. Title IX/Sexual Harassment of the Education Amendments of 1972 provides that no person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. 20 U.S.C. §1681. Pregnancy Services – The college offers accommodations in the classroom for pregnant students. If you are pregnant, please see the Title IX Coordinator as soon as possible so that accommodations can be coordinated.

Social Wellness
Student Life – Student Life works with students to create an engaging and vibrant campus experience. By empowering current students to create the campus community and culture, they help students develop practical leadership and social skills that complement and enhance the classroom experience. They help create a welcoming community that fosters integrity and collaboration; high quality programs that spark curiosity and inspire action.
Office of Student Affairs – The Office of Student Affairs is commissioned with the task of detailing the rights and responsibilities of students, adjudicating disciplinary matters, and when necessary, imposing sanctions for violations in accordance with the Student Code. The Office of Student Affairs serves as a resource to the entire college community through its efforts to meet the educational and developmental needs of students related to community standards and self-management expectations.
Veterans Resource Center (VRC) – The center provides the highest quality support to student veterans, active-duty military personnel, and dependents of active duty and veterans using VA educational benefits or Veteran Upward Bound services in an atmosphere that provides commitment and respect and fosters camaraderie while stimulating academic excellence.
Counseling and Student Life Services (CSLS) – CSLS acknowledges the importance of valuing differences among and between one another. Their mission often extends beyond the consultation room and into the campus community. Through outreach, partnerships, and consultation initiatives to faculty, staff, parents and other campus offices, CSLS seeks to promote wellness as a value to the Titan community.
TRIO Student Support Services – TRIO SSS provides opportunities for participants to build collaborative relationships through active peer group activities promoting communication, leadership, social acceptance and promoting differences.

Occupational Wellness
Career Services – The center offers one-on-one career advising appointments to help students make decisions related to choosing a major or exploring career options. Career Services staff help students gain awareness of factors impacting the career decision process and identify career opportunities that align with their values, interests, personality and skills. Industry advising is also available for students to learn insights and discuss strategies for opportunities in fields including business, healthcare, engineering, human services and other areas. Additionally, the center offers a variety of career readiness workshops and online resources.
TRIO Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) – VUB understands how veteran students arrive to campus with various experiences and that pursuing an education assists with achieving that next career goal. Whether you are making a transitional pivot into the civilian sector, preparing to return to the work environment or entering the professional field for the first time, we encourage students to begin thinking and planning their career paths in the first few months of starting their program.
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) – Student Support Services connects program participants with various career services that align with individual career goals, as well as assist students with four-year college transfer planning.
Alumni Partnership – Alumni Partnership is dedicated to promoting Titan Alumni stories and connecting alumni to peers and community through networking and active partnerships.
Emotional Wellness
Student Life – New Student Orientation (NSO) is a program that introduces new students to Central Carolina Technical College. Before each fall and spring semesters, NSO welcomes new students by providing them with a variety of events and activities designed to make them better acquainted with the college and their peers, including Welcome Weeks, TitanFest and Centralbration.
Student Support Team (SST) – This response team works with students who experience complex, personal difficulty. SST works with colleagues across campus to organize outreach and follow-up to students who are experiencing crisis or distress that impacts their social, personal and/or academic stability. The team receives referrals from faculty and staff who are worried about a particular student’s health, safety or wellness.
