UPCOMING STUDENT LIFE EVENTS THIS SEMESTER

Start your journey as a Titan with New Student Orientation! You’ll learn about the academic and student support resources available to help you succeed at CCTC. Once enrolled, you can complete the online orientation course and attend a one-day, in-person session offered at the beginning of each semester. In-person orientation gives you the opportunity to meet your academic program managers, explore campus and become more familiar with college resources.

Visit New Student Orientation to register.

Start your semester strong with Welcome Weeks! During the first week of each semester, we host events such as Welcome Box Day, the Student Organization Fair, “Pop In” to Student Life, Bingo Night, fundraiser walks and Trivia Night. These activities give you the opportunity to get comfortable on campus, meet new people and have fun along the way.

Visit our events calendar for more information.

Titan Fest and Centralbration are arguably our most well-loved events at CCTC! Enjoy free food, games, community resources, and student organizations. Meet new friends and mingle with classmates as we enjoy our beautiful Green Space at Main Campus in Sumter.

Visit our events calendar for more information.

Each spring, we come together to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our students. All CCTC students, faculty, staff and friends are invited to attend as we recognize our academic award recipients, Student Organization of the Year, Student Employee of the Year, School Service Award recipients and Student Life Saver of the Year.

Visit our events calendar for more information.

Student Life is available wherever you are! Because many CCTC students take classes online or attend one of our outreach campus locations, we offer virtual experiences you can enjoy from home. Explore inspirational talks, fitness workouts, virtual museum tours, online volunteer opportunities and more.

Visit Virtual Student Life for more information.

Get involved and connect with other Titans through our student organizations! Whether you want to explore your interests, build leadership skills, serve your community or meet new people, there are plenty of ways to find your place at CCTC.

Visit the student organizations page to learn more.

The Student Nutritional Access Center, commonly known as SNAC, provides free food assistance to currently enrolled CCTC students. Twice each month, you can visit SNAC to receive one to two bags of nonperishable food items. SNAC cabinets are available at all four campus locations.

Book your appointment today! To set an appointment visit the Student Nutritional Access Center page to register for an appointment.

Campus Hazing Prevention Policy [PDF]

Central Carolina Technical College is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students. Hazing in any form is strictly prohibited. This policy outlines the definitions, prohibitions, procedures, and consequences related to hazing activities. Hazing incidents should be reported to any one of the following:

  • Vice President for Student Affairs
  • Assistant Director of Student Life Services
  • Executive Director of Student Development
  • Executive Director of Auxiliary Services and Security

As required by the Stop Campus Hazing Act, Central Carolina Technical College will publish a Campus Hazing Transparency Report, updated at least every six months, if a recognized or established student organization is found responsible for a hazing violation. This transparency report will only be published if there are such findings. Interested members of the campus community can also visit our Annual Security Report, which as of October 2026 will include statistics for reported hazing incidents that occur within our reporting jurisdiction consistent with federal law. Information about Central Carolina Technical College’s anti-hazing policy and prevention efforts can be found here.
