The purpose of this organization is to promote interest, understanding, and knowledge of the scientific world, throughout the college and local community. The club fosters the type of honest skepticism that is necessary for lifelong learning and focuses on the area of Biology and our environment. The CCTC Biology Club is open to students of any major.
As a club, one of our projects will be to reduce our Carbon Footprint by recycling and making paper. We will have periodic guest speakers and also provide our members with opportunities to interact and “shadow” professionals in the scientific workforce.

Membership is open to all faculty, staff, and students of Central Carolina Technical College expressing an interest in science. Members will pay $5.00 dues each semester (Fall and Spring) and volunteer three hours per semester. Student members must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and be enrolled in at least one class at CCTC. Members must adhere to the school conduct code.
