The Leadership and Professional Development Council(LPD Council) is a student-led organization under the branch of TRiO Student Support Services. TRiO LPD Council was established in the 2013-2014 academic year at Central Carolina Technical College. The first official meeting of the LPD Council was held on Friday, February 15, 2013. The primary objective of the LPD Council aims at developing and enhancing the leadership skills of current students as well as assist students in professional development. It provides an opportunity for peers to interact and grow personally and professionally while gaining instrumental leadership experience.
