DESCRIPTION:
Delivers and conducts training courses on campus or at remote locations for water and wastewater utility personnel to increase their technical competence and skills. Performs classroom and topic preparation, and delivery of classes including demonstrating with teaching aids and completing required administrative paperwork. Maintains technical competence and skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Four years of experience in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water or wastewater utility systems.
Level ‘A’ license in the category being taught (P/C Wastewater, Biological Wastewater, Water Treatment, Water Distribution)
Valid Driver’s License. Travel required.
PREFERRED:
One year of experience in training adults and 60 hours of classroom instructional experience; or completion of approved Instructor training courses in Methods of Teaching or Effective Instructional Techniques.
SALARY:
Dependent upon qualifications.
