Latoya Lane-Milo

Florence, South Carolina native, Latoya Lane-Milo, always had her heart set on being nurse. “When I was searching for a nursing program, Central Carolina had the highest NCLEX pass rates of all the schools in my area,” Lane-Milo says. “It was higher than the universities and the technical college in my area.”

She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Central Carolina Technical College in 2016. While at CCTC, Lane-Milo attended a career fair where she learned about the Bridge program at Francis Marion University (FMU). In 2017, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from FMU and went on to hear her Family Nurse Practitioner degree.

Currently, she works as a family nurse practitioner at McLeod Health and her goal is to open her own practice. She wants to create a space for education and personal development.

We are proud of each and every one of our alumni! For more information on the CCTC Alumni Partnership or to share your story, contact Mary Copeland Heath at 803-774-6707.
