Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Results Now Available Faster Through Real-Time Processing!
The FAFSA process has been updated to provide faster access to FAFSA results for most students. The majority of FAFSA applicants now have access to real-time FAFSA results and processing, allowing colleges to begin reviewing FAFSA information sooner.
What Students Should Know
Submitting the FAFSA is the first step in the financial aid process. Receiving your FAFSA results does not mean your financial aid has been finalized. CCTC must still review student information, confirm eligibility, and complete any required steps before financial aid awards can be issued.

While most students now have access to real-time FAFSA results, some students may continue to experience a one-to-three-day processing timeline.

Veteran Applicants
Veteran applicants will continue to experience the one-to-three-day processing timeline while real-time FAFSA functionality is finalized for this population.
Maintenance Windows and System Outages
A small number of students who submit FAFSA forms or corrections during maintenance windows or system outages may also experience the one-to-three-day processing timeline.
