Under the general supervision of the Director of Counseling and Outreach Services, serves as Administrative Specialist for the Lee County Site and F.E. DuBose Campuses. This position works two days per week at the Lee County Site located in Bishopville, SC, and two days per week at the F.E. DuBose Campus in Manning, SC. Receives, responds to, and routes all telephone calls, walk-ins, and mail inquiries. Performs data entry for admissions applications, change of programs, readmit students, high school transcripts and test scores. Administers and monitors college placement tests, online and faculty make up testing. Conducts cashier services for payments and bookstore purchases. Maintains bookstore inventory for the campuses. Assists students with course registration and FAFSA completion. Provides administrative support for the department by preparing requested reports for all outreach campus locations. Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs including Excel and Word. Trains and works with student workers at both campuses. Provides customer service in a professional manner to both internal and external customers. Provides information to appropriate college personnel concerning course offerings, building maintenance, custodial needs, and information technology needs. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Associate’s Degree; or High School Diploma and two (2) years related work experience. Valid Driver’s license required.

To independently perform administrative support for the Dual Enrollment Program; to coordinate duties and responsibilities through the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. Provides administrative support to Dual Enrollment Coordinators; works with the general public and students as a public relations liaison for dual enrollment; makes referrals to appropriate personnel when necessary by maintaining extensive knowledge of the functions of the College. Maintains accurate records of dual enrollment students and completes necessary paperwork for admission to the college and course registration; composes, compiles, and keys a variety of documents such as tests; correspondence, memorandums, reports, charts, agendas, promotional materials, and minutes into final acceptable format; completes reprographic requests; makes decisions about completion and distribution of documents. Maintains and controls records management system (hardcopy and electronic) for requisitions, correspondence, support requests, and task management system for dual enrollment; sorts and distributes daily mail for the College. Coordinates meetings and promotional events; processes purchase orders; travel arrangements, car reservations, and work orders for Dual Enrollment staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position combines managerial responsibilities with in-depth, hands-on technical expertise. Manages the college’s information technology applications unit and database administration functions. Responsible for managing the development, third-party integration, operational support, and maintenance activities for a myriad of complex higher education computer systems and applications. Job functions include supervising and evaluating applications team members, database administrators, and contract staff; planning and directing the design and development of administrative systems with input from internal and external stakeholders; performing business analysis and developing project plans; developing, testing, and addressing defects for new and existing systems; maintaining database systems; providing technical support and end-user training in administrative systems; and maintaining system integrity and compliance with industry and state standards and security.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, computer science (information technology), mathematics, statistics, management information science or a related field and two (2) years’ experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology. Relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. Valid Driver’s license required.
Three (3) years’ experience with Oracle; ODBC Compliance; Ellucian Banner 9 module support for Student, Financial Aid, Finance, Human Resources, Banner Document Management, and Degree Works; PL/SQL; C; Java; Groovy; Linux; MS Windows, Argos; Evisions; and MS Office. Demonstrated knowledge of database management systems, concepts, and design methodology; knowledge of database structures, operating systems, data security, system integrity, and monitoring activities; knowledge of computer system analysis and design techniques; and extensive knowledge of programming languages. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent time management abilities; ability to delegate responsibilities among team members effectively; and the ability establish positive working relationships with employees.
