Serves as the Assistant Director of Accounting. Responsible for assisting the Director on the operation of the Accounting Department, including month and year-end processing, budget preparation and reporting, and other financial, grants, and related reporting. Assists with the monthly and fiscal year end close out of the institution’s financial records. Assists with preparation of financial statements to include the year-end reports and other periodic financial, grant reports and reimbursement requests. Assists the Director of Accounting with the planning, operation, and maintenance of the Institution’s financial accounting and purchasing systems by reviewing internal control procedures as well as ensuring adherence to mandated Federal, State, and SBTCE policies and procedures. Assists with development and implementation of College policies and procedures related to finance and purchasing.
