Central Carolina Technical College hosted its annual Skills Exploration Expo (SEE) on Saturday, April 18. Prospective students, community members and their families were invited to learn more about the academic programs at Central Carolina through hands-on learning and live demos.
The Skills Exploration Expo (SEE) is an opportunity for the community to learn about the academic programs offered by the college like advanced manufacturing, professional services, health sciences, and more. Admissions, financial aid and career services were also available to assist with questions and enrollment steps.
Community Broadcasters assisted with giveaways and provided on-air announcements and interviews from Central Carolina faculty and staff. Music entertainment was provided by DJ Eric Mac. Rounding out the festivities were local food trucks, face painting, a plant sale (provided by the CCTC Biology Club) and Lucky Paws Rescue offered on-site pet adoptions.
The highlight of the Expo included a car show of almost 60 entries. The car show provided an eye-catching display to help draw the community to campus and winners were awarded unique trophies made by the welding department at Central Carolina. List of winners inlcude:

This year’s event was attended by almost 200 prospective students and their families. Held annually, the Skills Exploration Expo gives the community a chance to visit Central Carolina to learn about academic programs and college services, connect with faculty and staff and ask questions.
Central Carolina offers more than 45 academic programs in health sciences, mechatronics, and other technical programs as well as Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) degrees. Summer and Fall 2026 class registration are open.
