WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: This workshop is designed to help students successfully plan and navigate the transfer process from a two-year institution to a four-year college or university. Participants will learn how to map out their transfer goals, identify colleges that best fit their academic, personal, and career aspirations, and understand the differences between public institutions, private colleges, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Students will explore transfer admission requirements and important deadlines, compare program delivery options such as online, hybrid, and in-person learning, and discover financial aid and scholarship opportunities available to transfer students. The session will also provide guidance on creating a strong transfer application and offer strategies for a smooth academic and social transition to a new campus.
