WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: Students participating in the Peer Tutor Program will gain an understanding of what it means to be an effective peer tutor and the important role tutors play in supporting student success. Participants will explore the benefits of becoming a tutor, including leadership development, resume-building opportunities, and valuable hands-on experience. The program will also cover tutor qualifications, responsibilities, and expectations, as well as the training and support available to help tutors succeed. Finally, students will learn about the application process and the steps needed to get started as a peer tutor.
