The program offers a broad foundation of knowledge about organizations and how they operate, such as assessing organizational strategies and practices, applying sound management principles to real-life business situations, and understanding key functions such as business law, human resources, customer service, quality and operations management. It is beneficial for those who aspire to supervision and management positions as well as those who want a basic understanding of business principles and practices to enhance effectiveness in any position. Students may apply courses in the Supervision and Leadership Foundations Certificate toward the Associate Degree in Applied Science with a major in Management.
