Congratulations to Christi McElveen for being selected as CCTC’s Top Titan for the second quarter of 2026.

Christi has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership through her management of the College’s Learning Management System, ensuring a reliable, efficient and student-centered digital learning environment. Her dedication to supporting both faculty and students has strengthened our ability to deliver high-quality instruction in online and hybrid learning formats. Through her technical expertise, responsive assistance and solution-oriented approach, Christi has empowered faculty and students alike to confidently utilize digital learning tools and resources.

A champion for accessibility and inclusion, Christi has led faculty training efforts focused on web accessibility within the LMS helping instructors implement inclusive design practices that create equitable learning opportunities for all students. Her leadership in this area has increased awareness and implementation of accessibility best practices, ensuring that course content is more inclusive and supportive of diverse learning needs.

In addition to her primary responsibilities, Christi has demonstrated an exceptional willingness to support institutional initiatives that extend beyond her assigned role. Her collaboration with multiple departments has strengthened communication, improved efficiency and promoted a culture of continuous improvement across the College.

Christi’s role in collaborating with the Information and Learning Technologies team to implement the new Intelligent Learning Platform process has been especially impactful. Despite numerous technical issues and implementation challenges, she consistently remained calm, professional and solution-oriented. Her ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently while continuing to provide excellent customer service to students, faculty and staff has been invaluable throughout the process. She has also assisted with implementing web accessibility guidelines across Academic Affairs, helping improve accessibility awareness and support inclusive instructional practices institution-wide.

Christi’s collaborative spirit has also been evident through her instrumental role in the redesign of the College’s Instructional Design Standards. By partnering with colleagues across departments, she helped modernize expectations for online teaching and learning, enhancing course quality and supporting student success. Throughout these efforts, Christi has consistently demonstrated professionalism, patience and a commitment to finding solutions, even when faced with significant challenges.

The impact of Christi’s work extends far beyond the systems she manages. Her efforts have strengthened the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of online learning, enhanced faculty development, improved institutional compliance and contributed directly to student success. Her professionalism, responsiveness and dedication to student and faculty success continue to make a lasting impact on the institution.
