DESCRIPTION:                                 

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Records and Testing Services, performs various data processing tasks with a high level of accuracy.  Provides support to departmental staff and serves as front desk personnel in Student Records.  Adhere to the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) maintaining a high level of confidentiality.  Performs day-to-day data processing including grade changes, tracking of incoming transcripts, drop/add/withdrawals, and weekly Title IV withdrawals.  Processes incoming transcript requests.  Processes outgoing transcript requests and enrollment verification requests through the National Student Clearinghouse.  Processes additional paperwork including but not limited to loan deferment forms, FERPA releases, name changes, etc.  Scans and indexes student documents into the College’s document management system.  Serves as front desk personnel in Student Records by greeting customers, answering phones, returning phone calls and providing excellent customer service.  Runs ARGOS and Banner reports to aid in the processing of roster verification, enrollment verification, and end of term processing.  Assists with roster verification and the reconciliation of rosters.  Runs missing grades report and communicates with faculty and staff to ensure grades are entered by the deadline.  Assists in the prevention of duplicate Banner accounts by monitoring students in the CRM admissions process who are in suspense and need manual matching.  Provides support to Student Records / Testing Services office staff.  Assists with student correspondence such as phone calls and mailings.  Provides assistance with the updating of procedures manuals.  Creates and maintains departmental documents, forms, and spreadsheets.  Serves as backup Cashier/Switchboard Operator as needed.  Assists Testing Center when needed.  Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:                          

Associate degree; or High School diploma and two (2) years related work experience. Valid Driver’s license required.

SALARY:                                             

$27,000 – $28,500.
