Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation, the Data Director will be responsible for developing a comprehensive plan for data management for the College for decision making, reporting, and planning for Academics, Student Affairs, and other areas of the College; will be responsible for planning for and submitting all required reports for State Tech, CHE, SACSCOC and the US Dept of Ed reporting requirements; design, develop, administer, and analyze the surveys for all divisions of the College for sound decision making in a timely, accurate manner. Establishes and maintains coordination of the data required to support academic, student services, and reporting functions, projects, and initiatives for the College. Responds to requests for data in a timely manner. Leads the creation of a college-wide data analytics vision and strategy in collaboration with College leadership to ensure consistent definitions and application of data in supporting the College’s goals and priorities Ensures data used for reporting to local, state, and federal entities is accurate, reliable, traceable, timely, consistent, and secure. Identifies and integrates internal and external data sources to provide additional quality and cost-effectiveness for enhanced analytics and innovation throughout the College. Expands the College’s research and analytics platform focusing on new, emerging, and innovative approaches in supporting a more robust digital business model.    Manages the College’s survey process to assess the student evaluation of instruction.


A bachelor’s degree and professional experience as a planner, researcher or statistician. A master’s degree in statistics or a related discipline may be substituted for the required work experience.
