DESCRIPTION:                                

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of teaching areas subject matter and teaches courses during the day, evening, Saturday, on campus and off campus. Evaluates students’ progress and maintains accurate administrative records pertaining to classes. Prepares daily lectures. Prepares and evaluates tests, exams, projects, research assignments, and other course assignments. Utilizes outcome data and student evaluations to improve courses. Develops new ideas and methods for instruction and prepares supplemental course materials to enhance instruction. Evaluates projects, research assignments and other course assignments to determine effectiveness. Examines new textbooks, including computer and instructional software, to improve instruction. Counsels students with academic, career, and personal needs and advises students for registration. Examines program/course content to achieve program and College goal. Performs college administrative duties, attends College meetings, and assists with recruiting efforts. Performs other duties which advance the mission of the College. Formulates and develops a professional development plan consistent with the College and program’s goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:                        

Must possess an Associate degree or greater in any field or discipline.  Must be a licensed pharmacist or nationally certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) who has graduated from an ASHP – accredited program; have at least five (5) years’ experience in pharmacy practice; hold membership in a national pharmacy association and a state pharmacy association.

PREFERRED:                                  

Experience in higher education student enrollment and recruitment using a CRM.

SALARY:                                            

Commensurate with education and experience.
