Meritor Scholarship Endowment Continues
Eighteen years ago, Meritor established a scholarship endowment through the Central Carolina Technical College Foundation to benefit Clarendon County students enrolled in Industrial and Engineering Technology programs at Central Carolina Technical College. Yesterday, the tradition continued with Meritor donating $2,800 to the CCTC Foundation.
The Meritor Scholarship Endowment is evidence of Meritor’s continued efforts in supporting CCTC and Clarendon County’s economic workforce development through annual scholarships. “The Central Carolina Technical College Foundation is very appreciative of our partnership with Meritor that has expanded more than eighteen years. The Meritor Scholarship Endowment provides scholarship support to Central Carolina Technical College students from Clarendon County enrolled in the Industrial and Engineering Technology Programs. We are pleased to recognize Meritor for its continued generosity and commitment to workforce development and education of Clarendon County students,” says CCTC Foundation Executive Director Meree McAlister.
