Assists and curates content and strategy for social media platforms for CCTC main accounts and supplemental accounts. Uses social media to strengthen the College’s brand and engages current and prospective students. Responds in a timely manner to questions, comments and reviews sent to the College via social media during operating hours. Analyzes and reports social media data to help shape future marketing and social media campaigns. Creates all social media advertising, from design to placement to purchase. Stays up-to-date on social media trends. Maintains social media advertising budget. Provides clear, accurate and creative copy for all social media, press releases, promotional materials, slideshows and presentations following AP Style guide. Writes featured stories and articles – with a focus on storytelling – to grow brand and market awareness for the college. Proofreads materials produced for quality, content, image and accuracy. Serves as the principal photographer for the College; attends and covers relevant College events. Coordinates photoshoots as needed. Provides accompanying photos for press releases. Sets up and conducts video shoots; manages camera, sound and lighting in both studio and field situations. Post-production work includes reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, adjusting audio and color, and completing final editing. Assists with assignments related to the graphic design of multiplatform communications (e.g. printed and digital materials) using Adobe Creative Suite software that promote the college, internally and externally.
A Bachelor’s degree; or an Associate’s degree and two years journey-level work experience in a related field; or a high school diploma and four years of journey-level work experience in a related field.
