DESCRIPTION:
Serves as an instructor for the Pharmacy Technical Certificate Program. Responsible for teaching courses and labs in the program. Program will be located and courses will be taught at the Health Sciences Center. Knowledge and facility with Word, Excel, Power Point, a pharmacy dispensing software system and other computer skills required. Must be available during the day, fall, spring, and summer semesters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree, current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT and be a graduate of an ASHP accredited program or be a currently licensed pharmacist), and three years recent experience practicing or instructing in area relevant to pharmaceutical services.
PREFERRED:
Experience in hospital setting. Teaching experience. Membership in a national pharmaceutical organization.
SALARY:
Commensurate with education and experience.
