Step 1: Entrance Test Scores & Transcripts
Take Central Carolina Technical College’s placement test, submit acceptable SAT or ACT scores, or provide acceptable college transcripts. The ACCUPLACER® placement test may be taken at CCTC or another postsecondary institution. To schedule placement testing at one of our convenient locations, register online using Testing Center RegistrationTest scores and/or unofficial college transcripts can be emailed to admissions@cctech.edu or faxed to the Office of Admissions at 803-778-6696. Official college transcripts should be mailed to the Registrar or emailed to registrar@cctech.edu or szupkajl@cctech.edu

Step 2: Application
Apply for admission online here. Once you have started an application, you can also access your Titan Start Portal for additional enrollment information here.

Step 3: Advisement and Registration
After you have been admitted to the College, you will be advised on which courses to take during your first semester. Admissions staff will help you plan your class schedule and discuss program requirements. You will also receive your myCCTC username and password. Through this account, you will be able to access your student information, register for classes, review financial aid updates and receive your admissions acceptance letter.

Step 4: Financial Aid
Apply for financial aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Available financial assistance includes grants, loans, scholarships and South Carolina Lottery Tuition Assistance. If you have questions regarding your FAFSA, you may contact our Financial Aid office by phone at 803-778-7831 or email finaid@cctech.edu. Students who may be eligible for Veterans’ Affairs benefits should contact our VA representative at 803-778-7845 for more information.

Step 5: New Student Orientation
