Course Description

This course focuses on the principles of health information management and explores basic concepts in diagnostic and procedural coding and classification systems. Prerequisites with a grade of “XC” or higher or placement score: mat 013 and RWR 032 or satisfactory placement score. This course is typically taught only in the fall semester.
