Clinical and Simulation Coordinator (G15848).

Collects and evaluates student health records, ensuring they are current and in compliance with the program and clinical agency. Monitors, reports, and submits appropriate forms to clinical agencies that may include but are not limited to criminal background checks, CPR certification, drug screen, health and immunization requirements. Inputs student information for My Clinical Exchange and EPIC for health sciences students. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with clinical sites and preceptors for health sciences students that meet educational requires. Assigns faculty/students to clinical practicum sites that meet course objectives. Serves as liaison between the College and health care agencies. Communicates health care agency requirements (i.e. orientation, charting, parking, etc.) to faculty. Conducts clinical site visits as needed to assess appropriateness of clinical sites. Conducts preceptor and clinical site evaluations each semester obtaining faculty and student feedback that is report to the Dean. Maintains simulation labs and set up student practice scenarios to prepare students for the workplace. Assists with implementation of Allied Health Simulation Lab. Assists with adoption of new simulation technology and software. Maintains knowledge on various program software and technology used for simulation training and clinical management.


Bachelor’s degree and experience in student services programs.


Healthcare experience of 1-2 years of experience in a health related field;  

CPR certified; Or willingness to obtain CPR certification along with Simulation certification in the future

Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Health Administration, Healthcare Studies, Healthcare Technology, Health Educator, Biology, and Business Science
