CCTC Welcomes School and Career Counselors!
While other School and Career Counselors may be vacationing or getting ready for the upcoming school year, twenty-five (25) School and Career Counselors from Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee and Sumter counties are participating in a two-week intensive School Counselor Summer Institute at Central Carolina Technical College. Counselors are exploring opportunities to provide a more comprehensive college bound program at their schools.

Still Need to Test?
Still need to test in one or more areas for placement and admission in CCTC?
Well you can do it from anywhere with the Testing Center Registration!
Q. Why do I need to go online to schedule my placement test?
A. Convenience. You can register for a placement test 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.
Q. What do I need to bring with me to show that I registered using Testing Center Registration?
A. A form of ID (DL, State ID, or Passport) and also a printout the email that confirmed your testing date and time.
Q. Do I really have to choose where to placement test?
A. Yes. You can select either of the following locations: Main Campus*, Shaw AFB Base Education Site, F. E. DuBose Campus, Kershaw County Downtown Campus, or the Lee County Site.
Q. Can I go to any location and take all of the placement tests needed to be admitted into Central Carolina Technical College?
A. Yes. Placement tests such as ASSET, COMPASS, Biology Placement test, and the Computer Technology Placement test can be taken at any of the above locations. After you have been admitted, you can also register to take Online and Faculty Makeup tests at any location.

What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?
Undecided about what to study in college? Potential students can make an appointment to take a career assessment to help them determine which of the CCTC’s Programs of Study will prepare them for a job that connects to their career interest. The Career Services Center’s Administrative Assistant will not only help you get started on the short, reliable assessment, but the Career Services Coordinator or Director will help you understand your assessment results.

Are You a Transient Student??
Definition: A transient student is any student who enrolls in Central Carolina Technical College who takes courses to transfer to his or her primary college.
