Under the limited supervision of the Director of Admissions, serves as the Assistant Director for Recruitment. Assists with designing, developing, planning, and implementing all aspects of the College’s recruitment processes. Develops and reviews appropriate reports and collects and analyzes data to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plan and initiatives. Maintains and utilizes technology, to include the CRM, to improve recruitment. Manages, coordinates, conducts and maintains the College’s Campus Visit Experience and special enrollment activities working cooperatively with department staff and divisions. Attends recruiting events as needed. Provides training for relevant staff, and faculty. Supervises and evaluates recruitment personnel. Advises students in career and academic areas. Stays abreast of admissions processes, policies, and program changes to ensure accurate admissions and advisement of students on program and course selection. Manages, plans, and evaluates all budgetary functions of recruitment.

QUALIFICATIONS:                        

Master’s degree; or Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ experience in student services programs. Valid Driver’s license required.

PREFERRED:                                  

Experience in higher education student enrollment and recruitment using a CRM.

SALARY:                                            

$42,000 – $45,000

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of teaching areas subject matter and teaches courses during the day, evening, Saturday, on campus and off campus, dual-enrolled and online when requested. Maintains all required class/laboratory and exam meeting times for assigned courses. Evaluates students’ progress (tests, exams, projects, research assignments) in a timely and consistent manner. Prepares daily lectures/activities and supplemental course materials to enhance instruction. Examines new textbooks and software, Institutes new methods and ideas to improve courses utilizing course outcome data. Develops, revises, and improves course syllabi for all courses taught. Maintains accurate administrative records pertaining to classes. Performs all academic administrative and college related duties in a timely manner including grade reporting, class roster verification and course data collection. Posts and maintains required office hours to assist and advise students. Develops and implements a professional development plan consistent with the discipline taught and college’s annual employee requirements. Assists students with career/academic goal development, by providing tutoring for CCTC students as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Under supervision and direction of the TRiO Student Support Services Director and serves as Administrative Specialist for Student Support Services. Initiate and maintain program and student files and electronic database as required for the Student Support Services grant. Maintain a computerized budget ledger in Microsoft Excel.  Meet with director monthly to discuss the budget report. Record program activities’ expenses and assist Director in assuring compliance with budget policies and limitations. Performs administrative office duties. Types letters, reports, and proposals and ensures that format, grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct. Drafts, edits, and produces final documents and reports. Organizes and implements general office procedures to keep several activities going at the same time. Records and prepares minutes of meetings. Maintains office supplies and maintains inventory. Orders supplies. Assist with the arrangement, implementation, and supervision of cultural and educational trips and events attended by participants. Arrange transportation for student cultural and colleges trips. Employ daily discretionary decisions relating to the student food arrangements and the purchasing and supervision requirements of the Student Support Services student meals. Performs coil cleanings and filter replacement on indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment in accordance with the college’s PM schedule. Performs testing and repair of college HVAC systems. Test and repair Emergency lighting and life safety devices. Troubleshoot and repair general building lighting for all college facilities. Serves as liaison for fiscal matters to Central Carolina Technical College and the State Department of Education. Provides financial information to Central Carolina Technical College’s Accounting, Purchasing, and Human Resources offices. Coordinates and prepares bank deposits, financial reports, purchase orders, accounts receivable, accounts payable, club accounts, etc., for high school, vocational, and adult education programs to College Accounting Office for processing and disposition. Processes employment packages for new part time employees; prepares employment contracts for part time employees, full-time teachers, and dual employment; prepares monthly payroll certifications for part time employees; maintains a list of current part time employees. Coordinates invoicing of dual-enrollment students to school districts and maintains physical textbook inventory with College Business Office. Coordinates invoicing of vocational students to school districts as well as requests for reimbursements through GAPS and county funding sources. Coordinates and invoices facility rental with Director, building maintenance, and security. Collaborates and coordinates with Business Office on the annual audit. Performs other duties as required.

Associate degree with accounting related courses and two (2) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; or High School diploma and four (4) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.  Valid Driver’s license required.
