DESCRIPTION:
Develops long-range and strategic plans that reflect the college’s mission, values and goals. Develops, implements, manages and evaluates programs to support instruction, student services and/or business areas of the College. Plans, implements, and delivers academic support programs by developing annual plans of action for each functional area of the LRC Division; oversees the evaluation of goals and the effective use of results for continuous improvement. Oversees Distance Education and ensures quality and effectiveness of distance learning methodologies; performs internal audits to ensure compliance with SACSCOC and other accrediting agencies. Evaluates the schedule and schedule processes for all College courses and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Evaluates curriculum content and instructional methods to facilitate high-quality and effective teaching and learning. Oversees Instructional Design Standards (IDS), to include the coaching process and assessment and evaluation. Supervises and evaluates personnel through the College’s systematic FPMS and EPMS process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in a related discipline, plus six (6) years of progressively responsible related work experience.
SALARY:
$70,000-$78,000.
