This Summer Semester, the Basic Machining and CNC Fundamental students have been working on their NIMS Credentials. Thirteen credentials have been earned so far with more to come. These credentials include “Measurement, Materials and Safety” and “Job Planning, Bench-Work and Layout.” NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills), is a nationally recognized credentialing service that enables the students to be credentialed in every area of machining including CNC machining and programming.
