Picture of Lisa Justice

We would like to introduce our new director, Mrs. Lisa Justice. She will begin today posting her “From the Director” blog, which will appear periodically on our site. Our blog will also include announcements, important information, and other happenings from Clarendon County Adult Education.

  • I have over 20 years of experience in public education as a teacher, academic facilitator, and administrator.

  • I am originally from Charlotte, but I grew up visiting Clarendon County and the Lake Marion area in the summers.

  • I lived in Manning after marrying my husband in 1999; he was born and raised in the Manning area.

  • I taught English at Manning High School for eight years prior to returning to the Charlotte area.

  • I most recently spent four years as an Assistant Principal at Marvin Ridge High School in Waxhaw, North Carolina where I managed academic and student life programs.

  • Our son is 14 and will be starting high school in the fall…he just missed the chance to have his mom as one of his principals!

  • I have a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wingate University (1991), a Master of Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College (2007), and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University (2011).

  • I am excited to return to Clarendon County to serve the school districts and community in this role. Adult learners are unique, and deserve dedicated professionals who care about their needs when seeking to complete their high school education and beyond.
