DESCRIPTION:
Provide instruction in the Automotive Technology program to prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles. Includes instruction in electrical systems, automotive electricity, engine performance, air conditioning and heat, electronic climate control, and some knowledge of Hybrid systems. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to interact with students and the public. The schedule includes day classes offered face-to-face. Works thirty (30) – thirty hours per week. (Fall, Spring, and Summer).
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma. ASE certifications and minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician is required.
SALARY:
Commensurate with education and experience.
