Basic Emergency Medical Technician - YAHE 995
This Certificate provides technical knowledge and training to become a Basic EMT. It prepares students to give efficient care to critically ill and injured at the scene and en route to a medical facility. The program is certified by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Successful completion makes students eligible to take the national certification examination. A candidate must be a high school graduate or possess a GED, be 18 years old before course completion and score at least a level 3 on WorkKeys (Math and Reading) or receive full admittance into the college. Tuition includes books. Some Saturday classes will be required.
