Wastewater Short Schools and Reviews
"A" Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Oeprator Short School ScheduleShort Schools are intensive training sessions designed as a comprehensive overview for operators of water or wastewater treatment facilities who are preparing for the state certification exam. State "Standards of Performance" for operators are used as the topical outline for each Short School, and the Sacramento Manuals are used as reference texts. Handouts, videos, demonstrations and practice tests are utilized in the training program.
Book Requirements for Short Schools: Sacramento Manuals are reference texts for all Short Schools, as well as the reference for the S.C. state certification (ABC) exams. Manuals are issued at no cost for each "D" & "B" level course in Water Treatment, Biological Wastewater, and Physical/Chemical Wastewater and the "D" level Water Distribution courses. Students are asked to bring these books with them for the "C" & "A" courses. Additional manuals are available for purchase through SCETC. Call (803)778-6656.
