CCTC has partnered with PSI to offer Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airman Knowledge Testing. Prior to scheduling an exam, test candidates will need an FAA Tracking Number (FTN) which may be obtained by completing the Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA) at https://iacra.faa.gov/IACRA/default.aspx

Once you have your FTN number, you can schedule the FAA Airman Knowledge Test at https://faa.psiexams.com/faa/login. You will need to create an account or sign into your existing account. Follow the online instructions to schedule and pay for your exam.

Knowledge Testing

CCTC is an approved PSI True Talent testing site authorized to administer FAA Airman Knowledge Testing. Tests include computer based written tests for pilots, technicians, flight instructors, engineers, small unmanned aircrafts, etc.

What is the price for the Airman Knowledge Test?

The price for an AKT is $175 (at the time of this publication).

Can I reschedule or cancel my test?

Test candidates may reschedule their test through PSI up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Test candidates may cancel a test through PSI and receive a full refund when canceling up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment provided the payment was made within the past year.

What do I need to bring with me to my test appointment?

Test candidates should refer to the FAA Test Matrix located at the link below for general requirements and documents needed the day of testing.

What type of identification is required the day of testing?

Test candidates must present a valid and current ID. Identification must include all of the following

• Photo
• Date of Birth
• Signature
• Physical, residential address
Acceptable forms of identification include a state-issued permit or license, government identification card, military identification card, passport or alien residency card.
