Friends of Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden have generously supported the Central Carolina Technical College Foundation Scholarship Program since 2008. Scholarship awards are designated for two Lee County students, with a preference given to one student from Lee Central High School and one student from Robert E. Lee Academy.  This year’s recipients are Jesus Diaz who is enrolled in CCTC’s Welding program and Cody Watson who is entering the college’s Natural Resources Management program.

Central Carolina Technical College Foundation operates exclusively for charitable educational purposes as a 501(c)3 organization. Generous support from many benefactors provides funding for scholarships that are awarded to CCTC students through the Foundation Scholarship Program. Benefactors include individuals, companies, clubs and organizations. Scholarships may be undesignated or the donor may designate certain criteria for the award.
