The Concurrent Admissions Program allows new soldiers to apply for and be admitted to colleges or universities at the same time they enlist. Upon completion of initial enlistment for active military service or initial duty of training for the Army Reserve, the student will be aware that he or she is accepted and ready to enroll at the college of his or her choice.
This program is available through the Service Members Opportunity Colleges (SOC), of which Central Carolina is a participating member. This agreement is in effect for two years following completion of initial enlistment requirements. The student must meet entrance and degree requirements of the catalog in effect at the time of enrollment in classes at the college.
