Description

Full-time Distance Education Program Corodinator will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Learning Resources to provide support to the college’s Distance Education Program and Academic Affairs Division. Duties include: develop and manage online courses in Desire2Learn, assist with online student support, assist with video courses transmission, coordinate the Professional Development Program and facilitate faculty/staff technology training.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant program experience. Relevant experiences include: instructional/computer technology education, higher education instructional design and end user support experience. Excellent computer skills including Vista Operating System, Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) HTML and web page development; experience with a learning management system such as Desire2Learn; demonstrated experience in creating innovative electronic learning resources; very good customer service; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions for technology problems; good organization skills; ability to communicate effectively; and ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies and procedures.

Hiring Range: $30,274 - $37,000
