CCTC is now “Green Zone” Certified
The goal of Green Zone training is to develop a very visible network of faculty and staff at CCTC to whom Active Duty, Veteran, and dependent family members may go to receive assistance. These faculty and staff members have voluntarily agreed to attend specialized training to increase their awareness and understanding of the unique needs of the military and military family member. Through this training they are able to be a source of assistance and resources to these military affiliated students.
2018 School Counselors Summer Institute Participants

Central Carolina Scholars’ Signing Day was a Blast!
On Saturday, April 21 soon-to-be high school students and their parents attended Central Carolina Scholars’ Signing Day at the Main Campus of Central Carolina Technical College. CCTC President Dr. Michael Mikota welcomed and congratulated the students and their parents on this opportunity of a lifetime. Faculty spoke and were available to help guide the incoming students through financial aid, registration, student life activities and other opportunities. There was a signing ceremony for each student and their family, which included a Central Carolina Scholars baseball cap, pen and contract. CCTC is proud to have these bright high school graduates become part of the college’s team. Lunch was served following the signing ceremony.
