Skills Institute Classes

If you are planning to attend Central Carolina Technical College and take the placement test, you have an opportunity to improve your scores by taking one or more of the Skills Institute Classes.

Skills Institute Classes cover Math, Reading, and English, and are offered two or three times a semester.

When you review your placement test scores with your counselor, he/she may recommend that you take a Skills Institute class and re-take the test for placement into higher level classes.

Please contact the Admissions and Counseling Office at (803) 778-6605, or (800) 221-8711, ext. 205 to sign up for a class. Skills Institute Classes are offered at no charge, and study materials will be provided.
