Secondary School Articulation Credit
Central Carolina Technical College has developed articulation agreements with the career centers and with all public high schools in the four-county service region of Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter Counties. Students may earn college credit for completion of specified occupational courses at the high school level upon satisfactory completion of the high school course and passing a proficiency test administered by Central Carolina Technical College.Procedures to Obtain Articulation Credit
High School/Career Center Teachers:
- Obtain and complete competency forms from Central Carolina Technical College Office of the Registrar.
OR
- Access competency forms at the Central Carolina Technical College’s Website: Secondary School Articulation Credit.
- Click on Secondary School Articulation Credit.
- Locate your high school by County.
- Locate the high school subject area. Ex. Business
- Click on the competency name.
- Fill in the student’s information on the cover sheet
- Complete the competency form and the recommendation.

Student Responsibilities:
- Contact the high school or career center teacher to complete the competency form.
- Contact Central Carolina’s Registrar to ensure the competency form has been received from the high school or career center teacher.
- Complete successfully a proficiency test (no fee assessed)
