Anatomy and Physiology for Massage Therapy I
This course will focus on the anatomy and physiology of the human body and effects of massage on the body as a whole with emphasis on the skeletal, muscular and circulatory systems, including indications/contraindications for massage and relevant pathologies. Prerequisite: BIO 100 with a grade of "C" or higher or placement. Corequisites: MTH 120, MTH 121, and MTH 136. This course is typically taught only in the fall semester.
