The Nursing Associate Degree in Applied Science program at Central Carolina Technical College prepares graduates to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and is approved by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (LLR) Board of Nursing. The program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
The nursing curriculum prepares the graduate to function as a technical nurse who is a beginning practitioner in acute care, long-term care, or home health settings. Throughout the curriculum, the student has planned clinical and laboratory experiences to complement classroom learning and to enhance skills in the application of nursing principles and associated technology.
