The Nursing Associate Degree in Applied Science program at Central Carolina Technical College prepares graduates to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and is approved by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (LLR) Board of Nursing. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), 3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, Georgia 30326, Phone (404) 975-5000.
The nursing curriculum prepares graduates to function as competent registerd nurses who are caring and sensitive to diversity, use critical thinking and technogy to provide care in structured settings for individuals and their families/sigificant others. Throughout the curriculum, the students have planned clinical and laboratory experiences to complement classroom learning and to enhance skills in the application of nursing principles and associated technology.
