Fundamentals of Nursing
This course provides an introduction to basic principles and beginning skills necessary to the nursing process. Concepts are integrated relating to physiological and psychosocial needs of the individual. Legal and ethical roles of the practical nurse are emphasized. Prerequisites with a grade of "C" or higher: BIO 210, ENG 101, MAT 101 Corequisites: BIO 211, PSY 201. This course is typically taught only in the fall semester.
