Pharmacologic Basics in Nursing Practice

This introductory course outlines the basic concepts of pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacotherapeutics. The process of clinical calculations is introduced, as well as the major drug classifications. Prerequisites with a grade of "C" or higher: BIO 210, ENG 101, MAT 101 or MAT 110 or MAT 120. Corequisites: BIO 211 and NUR 101. This course is typically taught only in the fall and spring semesters
