This program is the advanced level of the existing Industrial Maintenance Workforce I Certificate. The Industrial Maintenance Workforce II Certificate includes more practical applications, exercises, and hands-on experience in the electro-mechanical maintenance area.
The program covers basic electrical fundamentals, single and three phase motor control circuits, including magnetic motor starters, reversing starters, control relays, timer relays, pressure switches, proximity switches, photo cells, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical applications, reading and understanding schematics to pinpoint problem areas.
To complete this program, courses should be taken in the following sequence:
