Drop/Add/Withdrawal Procedures

You may add a course or courses by the designated add/drop date within the first week of classes provided the class is not closed. If a course or courses are added that increases the total hours enrolled from part-time to full-time status, additional tuition will be charged. Course(s) may be dropped by this date without academic penalty. The designated add/drop date is listed under Important Dates at this website. It is also published in the current semester course schedule. All schedule changes require you to complete an Add/Drop Form, including all appropriate approvals.

You must complete the paperwork with your advisor or in the Office of Admissions and Counseling. You may also complete this process at the College's outreach locations, including the F. E. DuBose Career Center site, the Kershaw County site, the Shaw Center site, or the Base Education Office on Shaw Air Force Base. You will receive a pink copy of the add/drop form and should retain this copy for your records. The completed Add/Drop Form must be submitted to the Center for Student Information.
