New Ride Matching Service Offered By CCTC

ride.share Central Carolina Technical College and Santee-Wateree Regional Transportation Authority are proud to announce a new ride-sharing service using AlterNetRides. This program connects CCTC students, employees, and visitors, as well as other citizens in the four-county area, who want to share rides to save gas and money and decrease their impact on the environment.

In response to high gas prices and the desire to lessen our impact on the environment, CCTC and SWRTA are offering this new service. Its easy to log in, see rides being offered or needed, and make the connection with other ride.share users. You'll need a valid email address in order to use the service. Your information is kept confidential. Only you can give out your information to other riders. You can specify things such as radio preference or smoking preference in your ride post.

Are you a regular commuter who is looking to share the trip and split the costs? Post your ride online, and get a passenger. Do you need a ride? Whether you're looking for a regular ride to and from work or school, or need to share a one time trip, this new service is the way to make it affordable. Would you like to do your part to better our environment? Share a ride with someone who can alternate driving responsibilities with you.
