Math Skills review workshops offered
Central Carolina Technical College is offering its students two different sessions of math skills review workshops at no cost to participants.
The review for Math 031 is slated for July 28 through July 31. There is a morning session and an evening session for all four days. The morning session is from 9:00 to 11:00am. The evening session is from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The review will cover the four arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percents.
The review for Math 032 is scheduled for August 4 through August 7. is a morning session and an evening session for all four days. The morning session is from 9:00 to 11:00am. The evening session is from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The review will cover Arithmetic skills, the study of measurement, basic algebra concepts and data analysis.
Both workshops will be located in Building 500, Room 533. The instructor for the workshop will be S. Nichols. There is a limit of 25 students per session. You need to register for the workshops. You can register with an Admissions Counselor by calling (803) 778-6605 or 1-800-221-8711 x.205. You can also register in person at the round building on main campus.
Remember, there is no cost involved for the workshops, but you must be a CCTC student to attend. These are designed to help prepare students for Math 031 and Math 032, and increase the success of these students. If you would like to brush up on your math skills, please register for one or both of these workshops.
