Spring Semester begins with another near-record enrollment
Friday, January 11, 2008
Monday, January 14 will mark the first day of classes at Central Carolina, and all indications are that it will be another busy semester on campus. Following a fall semester which saw an 11% increase, early enrollment numbers for the Spring Semester show similar strength. More than 3,000 students will once again be attending classes and working towards their education and career goals this spring at CCTC.
While the main semester courses will begin this week, students wishing to enroll at CCTC may still have time to begin course work during the Mini-mester beginning March 10. During the spring Mini-mester, a variety of courses are offered in an 8-week format which ends at the same time as the 16-week courses.
Students may also wish to take advantage of classes over the summer. And, as always, the traditional start of the school year is the Fall Semester, this year beginning on August 25, 2008. Students are encouraged to begin the admissions and financial aid processes as early as possible, to ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
