Bookstore Purchasing Process Improved


There is an exciting improvement we will have available for use in the CCTC bookstore on Main Campus in Sumter. Starting March 1, 2013, the first day students can use their Mini-II term financial aid, the Bookstore will have the ability to scan the students' ID card at the cash register. This new functionality will greatly increase the accuracy associated with the input of both accounting and bookstore information, and make a huge difference in the time it takes to complete a financial aid cash register transaction.

While this is a big improvement, it will require all students using their financial aid account to have their ID card with them when they come to Sumter to make a purchase. We will no longer be able to simply use the C# on their schedule. This is a very important part of this new requirement. This will be especially important to new students and students from outreach locations who may yet not have had their ID card made.
