Workforce Readiness Center

"Our goal is to change lives through Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity."

The Workforce Readiness Center (WRC) is an essential part of the ASSIST program. The focus of the WRC is to support and guide participants through their educational endeavors and job skills training. With gained knowledge and experience, participants will be more prepared and competitive in today's global workforce.

We are committed to assisting participants to determine their educational and career pathways and provide assistance to ensure all necessary steps are accomplished. Upon completion of their education and training requirements, our dedicated staff will continue to provide support with career services skills. The skills obtained in the ASSIST Program include, but are not limited to, job-seeking skills, resume writing, cover letters, job application processes, and interviewing skills.

Services to the public are available at this time by visiting the offices of the ASSIST staff on the CCTC Main Campus in Sumter, in Building M400, Room M410.
