Welding Program Manager (136432CW)
Description
Provides leadership and supervision for the expanding credit and noncredit welding programs at Central Carolina; program manager will provide some classroom instruction in arc welding, inert gas welding, gas metal arc welding, fabrication welding, and qualification welding in both the lecture and lab settings. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the various metals including aluminum, bronze, iron, and steel; be able to teach techniques in inert gas, oxyacetylene, electric arc welding, and plasma arc cutting; develop curriculum, work collaboratively with business and industry; must be willing to teach day or evening classes at Main Campus or other locations; maintain program enrollment through active recruitment activities; complete instructor-level administrative duties associated with program management.Qualifications
Certificate, diploma, or Associate's Degree in Welding, Industrial Technology, or other closely related certification; relevant work experience and standard welding certifications.Preferred
Pipe Welding Certification, TIG and stick, 6G position carbon and stainless steel, CWI.Salary
